# essence
A [[temple]] is a [[part]] of the [[world]] [[resonance|resonating]] in [[love]].
# expansion
The *temple* is an archetype of the way of love. It is an example of the healthy world resonating in love constructed within a part of it.
When you enter the temple, you become part of it and must act in a way that is befitting of the harmonies of love that comprise the place.
You can only enter if you resonate with it.
We seek first to build a true temple, a small temple, a seed temple.
Then to nourish the temple and let it grow with sensitivity to everything around it, integrating the wisdom, diversity, and unique beauty of any part of the world that chooses to join in.
This happens until the temple covers the world because the world has become a temple.
[Need more emphasis on consent]
Or is the temple more specific than this? Is it a sacred space that is only for reverence? Or should reverence be brought into all aspects of our lives, even the light and joyful? Can there be temples for many things? And temples are resonating with particular frequencies associated with their design. There can be a temple to god, a temple to love, a temple to joy, a temple for the forest, a temple for the town.
Can there be good temples and bad temples? Temples to love and temples to attachment (e.g. fear and hate)?
A temple needs to be safe and protected so that it can resonate in the way it is designed to. It must resonate well with its context outside of it in addition to the way that it resonates within.
